Mansefield House is a four star self-catering holiday home, sleeping up to 12, overlooking Loch Long & the Arrochar Alps, Loch Lomond 2 miles. In the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, it is the perfect spot from which to tour magnificent Argyll & the Isles, or head to bustling Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh.
Mansefield House sits in an elevated position on a hill, with a gradual approach.
The house sleeps 10 + 2 people in 5 bedrooms, one being on the ground floor with an ensuite, low level shower tray. The +2 can be accommodated on guest beds, put wherever is convenient.
The house was built in the 1860s, but has been fully refurbished to make it a real home from home.

- The B road at the bottom of the garden is quiet, with a pavement the entire length.
- You can arrange to have shopping delivered to the House from ASDA, Waitrose, Tesco or Sainsburys.
Key Collection, Welcome & Car Parking
- The key will be on the doorstep for your arrival
- We will pop round to say hello and make sure you have everything you need once you have settled in
- There are 4 large sandstone steps leading up to the front door
- There is parking available for up to 5 cars in the private gravelled drive
- The EV Charging Point is to the left of the building, on the side elevation.
Entrance to the Property
- There are 4 wide sandstone steps leading up to the front door with no ramp and no hand rail.
- There is no designated parking for guests with disabilities
- There is a drop-off point for guests immediately outside the main entrance
- There is a secondary access point through the patio doors, parking in the rear Gallery car park
- The route from the Gallery parking area to the patio door is across grass and patio slabs, with one threshold step into the games room.
Halls, Stairs, Landing, Passages
- The hall, stairs and landings are well lit with ceiling lights
- Emergency lighting activates in the event of a power cut
- The ground floor has traditional wooden floorboards throughout, with occasional rugs
- The first floor and stairs are covered by short pile carpet.
- The original Victorian staircase is steep and turns 180 degrees half way up, with kite shaped treads, and a wooden handrail on one side
- There is a small step up into the kitchen (5 cm)
- There is level access to the downstairs double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room and WC. The shower tray is low level (5cm)
- There is level access to the sitting room and dining room
- A small threshold (2cm) takes you from the kitchen to the games room
- A small step takes you down from the kitchen to the utility room

- The sitting room is situated on the ground floor with level entry from the hallway
- The room has three sofas, with a low coffee table and a higher occasional table
- There is a widescreen TV with remote control, subtitles, a DVD player and Sky Freeview
- Lighting is natural daylight and by night ceiling lights and standard lamps
- Flooring is wooden with a large short pile rug

- The dining room is situated on the ground floor with level entry from the hallway
